I thought this would be a fun book to begin the semester. Get ready to read, read, read!!!

This is an example of picture book that discusses a serious and sophisticated topic.

A powerful and moving picture book!

Hilarious story! Why do we always want what we can't have!

Historical Fiction. This is considered a transitional book. A book that helps students transition from picture books to novels.

Unique format. The young boy tells his story by writing to a fictional children's author.

Never been a huge fan of Bunnicula. However, students love this book!!! Especially third graders! :)

Please, please, please read the book, and do not watch the movie. The movie does not capture the story!

This story is based on a real "Ivan". Sweet story.

Please, please, please really read the book, and don't watch the movie!

Maniac has been an adolescent favorite for many years. Still a well loved tale.

Love, love, love this book! Hope you do too!

My daughters read about Zachary in 5th grade so I read along with them. They did not enjoy the book because they felt so bad for Zachary. I'll be curious to read your take.

One of my all time favorite books. Got to hear the author read the first chapter at a reading conference and laughed so hard at the lips frozen to the car mirror. Hope you enjoy.
