64118 I also con't see how is the original purpose of our Book Club is harmed by making this group private or public. Anyway, I just wanted to make a thread about it yesterday so this bothered me.

64118 Is there any way we can make it easier to invite people here? I'd like to open a thread about the book club but it just sounds dull to talk about it, give our group url and be unable to invite those people because only the group admin can do that. Please make it "public", or give everyone access to invitations. Thanks.

64118 Brave New World is amazing however I have just read it (less than a month ago) so I'd appreciate if we could chose any other book.

>how today's world was eerily close to Brave New World and much further away than 1984.
Yes, it's as interesting as that, 1984 was more of a fear that the world would be controlled by authoritarian/totalitarian states, Brave New World was somewhat different.

How about these?
The Trouble with Being Born
Fahrenheit 451
The 120 Days of Sodom
The Book of Sand
Fight Club
