645 I only managed a 6. Absolutely need to revisit all the Jeeves books now!

645 Oh, what a tough choice! If I had to choose one, it would be Lord Emsworth. Followed closely by Bertie and Galahad. I am also fond of several secondary characters including Gussie Fink-Nottle and his newts, George Cyril Wellbeloved, and The Efficient Baxter.
645 John hit the nail on the head - the characters never change fundamentally. This is one thing that makes Wodehouse so special. I also love the intricate plots - how Bertie finds himself deeper and deeper in mud but we know that he will somehow (with Jeeves) find a way out eventually and a happy ending for all will ensue.
