67080 So what with Fairest coming out yesterday, I've been in a Lunar Chronicles mood, even though I don't have Fairest as of yet:( Anyways, I decided to go with a short Levana-inspired poem for the theme "reflection(s)" Meaning(read after reading poem): (view spoiler)

You tried to create perfection
For every flaw a new correction
But a mask to hide your face
Is a sin to bring forth grace
We all ask our mirror a question
And yours lied with your reflection

Thick and real
Darkness surrounds me
Wanting to feel
I stretch out my hand

I feel blind
In this unnatural prison
I search trying to find
A way towards the light

67080 Theme for December?
Nov 28, 2014 10:23PM

67080 I wrote this really quick, because I realized I hadn't entered this month. Hope you like it!

These feathered hopes won't last for very long
And I remember warning you
That soon I too would be gone

But you didn't believe that I believed
That that could really be true
If only you knew that I never lied to you

So I'll give you one desperate kiss
As we watch them fly away
Tugging out the words I never thought I'd say

These winter winds will someday leave
Bringing back the summer days
The feathered hopes and even me

Your wings are not meant to last
Come back to me, my love
Leave all this in the past

Come bac..."

67080 For Triskaidekaphobia:

One and Twelve
Do you hear hearts beating?
Two and Eleven
Do you see shadows lengthing?
Three and Ten
Do you hear lovers fighting?
Four and Nine
Do you see eyes emptying?
Five and Eight
Do you hear voices whispering?
Six and Seven
Do you see arms opening?
Seven and Six
Do you hear wolves howling?
Eight and Five
Do you see fangs dripping?
Nine and Four
Do you hear children screaming?
Ten and Three
Do you see us dying?
Eleven and Two
Do you hear them laughing?
Twelve and One
Did you see them coming?
Thirteen
