This was an eye opening book. It was fascinating and disturbing at the same time. It was very enlightening to read about the development of tomatoes. I don't buy the round globes from Florida. Now that I've read this book, I never will. What a horrible way to treat laborers! It seems that kind of treatment is epidemic in the agricultural sector.
