Thanks, Julie. I love the concept of magical people hidden within our ordinary society. People with extraordinary talents just amaze me, so I figured that they must be more than ordinary people, they must be magical in some way. And thus the idea blossomed in my mind for the Vallen. :-)

Great idea! You can read Magic In The Storm after DD, that'll be a big switch! Southern funny romance to historical paranormal. :-)

Isn't that frustrating? I was reading a conversation among writers who have so many books on their ereaders that they got for free, they don't know where to start or how they're going to read them all.
I can never remember the plots of all the books I've got so it's eeny-meeny-miny-mo for me. How do you decide which to read next?
