That was a lot of fun.Had it's clunky bits, but they were minor.
Three leads are likable and work well together.
Continues the MCU trend that outer space is 50% scary, 50% goofy.
Finale: I'll be damned, they pulled it off! That was impressive.Marvel took some risks.
Really solid and well written.
Still don't like Sylvie
Episode 5: well, that was a waste.Impressed they made it five episodes before a major stumble, but still disappointed.
And there's a lot to deal with in one episode.
Episode 4: Well, that's a cliffhanger.Still don't think Sylvia is working, but everything else is rock solid.
Like that I'm not sure where this story is going and am enjoying the ride.
Episode 3: stumbles a bit, as to make the plot work, most of the cast stopped listening and forgot how to do their jobs.Otherwise, solid acting, everyone gets something to do and one character turn was suitable weird and well done.
Episode 2: Still a lot of really solid acting, some interesting ideas and there's pie.Still don't love Sylvie and there's still some shaky bits, but still a huge jump from the mess that was season 1.
Watched episode 1, as my wife loves Tom Hiddleston.Writing was better than 90% of the previous season.
Some interesting stuff going on here, but I still don't like the actress playing Lady Loki.
Any one watched the Stan Lee documentary on Disney+?Curious to check it out, but heard mixed reviews.
Love the character, but worry about marvel pushing her into being a'Big Bad' or trying to go the Loki route.Wait and see...
There are so many little side bits in the MCU.They need some kind of anthology, streaming show where they could deal with these things:
Stories from the blip/snap
The Skrulls have been on earth for 30 years.
Damage control has been collecting alien tech, before they took up chasing after teenagers.
Call me Kevin!
I've got pages of notes.
I'm curious to see what the MCU does with it's version. Not a lot of super powers on the team.
If it turns out to be a bunch of guys with guns and shields vs some terrorists, then I lose a little interest.
But, if that same bunch goes up against a monster or someone superpowered, then I think we could have alot of fun.
Sawyer wrote: "Well they could take it on a different story. I want it to come sooner."I am hoping they managed to build her up, her supporting cast and a rogues gallery better than the comics.
I think there's some good stuff there.
She's the least interesting part of the Hawkeye series and I keep forgetting she's getting a series.May pass on this, unless my wife wants to watch it.
She was interesting in Wakandi Forever and has potential. My worry is, none of the Ironheart comics were very good/interesting, and I don't know if the MCU can fix that.
Episodes 5 and 6: the cast and writers made a solid effort to get their acts together, but it wasn't enough to save this mess. Some really good acting, some really nice actions scenes and a bunch of interesting ideas, but there's still too much BS that does not work and to little effort is made to sort it out.
Lots of loose ends that will have to be dealt with in other projects. Could be interesting but I can't say I have a ton of faith they'll handle it better than they did here.
Trailer looks fun, but it's girls doing stuff, so a bunch of guys on the internet will be very angry.Looking forward to the Marvels.
Episode 4: Any scene with Sam Jackson and somebody else just talking is solid. The action set piece was so good.
Nobody in the cast seems competent, the bad guys are annoying, at best and none of this history works in MCU history.
It's not bad enough to walk away from, but I doubt it can pull off a decent finale.
Episode 3: This story isn't working, despite some really strong actors giving it their all.The Skrulls have been here 30 years, yet are acting like they arrived last week.
Nobody seems to be good at their job
Zygon Invasion with Peter Capaldi did this story much better.
Marvel has a deal with Lucas film...so, where is my Indiana Jones comic...?and if they happened to have him team up with Captain America, my wife would be very happy.
