Hi Riley,Could to have you.
I know I'm guilty of the editing issue, a lot, though half of my problems are with US readers and UK spelling...
Shirley wrote: "That sounds exciting! Can't wait to read!!"I am glad! Writing it is reeeeaaally hard, though.
I guess this is as good a place as any to say that the title for Levels 4 is decided. It will be called 'The Walled Lake' and it will double as the first book in a new series 'Idylls of Merlin'

Reminds me of JRR Tolkien, who basically told stories, because he made up languages and needed stories to tell in them... :)

Hi Norman, welcome... :)
This is good information. There are lots of book blogs that don't give much review information, so these are nice....

It's funny, I like recognising places I know. I've thought about world building, but the scale of the effort really doesn't appeal, you know, thinking up names for mountains and seas and stuff. I was planning on writing a fnatsy novel, but what I'll probably do is set it in an alternative Europe. I'll have to get rid of Ireland, which is unfortunate... otherwise it should work

wicked super powers kitchen witchery and magical reading. Jealous!

This is a lovely introduction, Ruby, it's so interesting the quirky ways that people's reading is channelled in different directions.

Embarrassing confession, I thought crochet was the same as knitting? Isn't it?

Amaleenison.com said this:When I finished reading the last sentence of The Water Book, I knew I’d read something special. It’s an incredible story, unlike anything I’ve read before. To be honest, though, in the beginning, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. Fitch and his friends are odd, the premise strange, and the sections from the whale’s point of view surreal. Then, all of a sudden, everything clicked into place and I realised the genius of its construction. Seriously, if I had my way, (which of course I don’t) I’d put this book on the school curriculum.
Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th of March. It's FREE.
Song to Wake to has been around for a year and a half now, and I'm working on book 4. The 4 horsemen are taking leading roles. What do you want to know about them?

So two months ago i read Wool, the first book in this series. I loved the idea of the short, single issue mystery. So I wrote one, set in the Levels world, introducing the heroine of Levels 4, and with a proper twist. It's not quite like Wool, but hopefully it will still surprise...
Did it surprise you?
