Dang, my library doesn't have a single book with "ecopunk" or "solarpunk" in the title. I've bought this one, though, as it isn't even available through inter-library loan.

Our main goal is to get the solar panels back up. We suffered a bad hailstorm last summer, and we had to remove the panels to replace the roof. The roofers took forever and now we're waiting on the city inspectors so we can contact the solar company to green-light the re-installation. Meanwhile, the panels are just stacked in the back yard. Grr.

Speaking of the back yard, I'm hoping we can get started on xeriscaping it this year.

So nice to meet you all! I've been lurking for a while now, but I'm looking forward to participating this year. I read a lot of sf and love steampunk, and I live in Colorado (a very sunny state), so I think I'll enjoy solarpunk.

I'm a musician and a writer, and for actual money, I do bookkeeping for a shop in Old Town Fort Collins. My hobbies include hoarding books, collecting pens, cooking, and travel.
