Gwen faked a smile and took off.

"I know, right?" Gwen laughed too. "Hey, I skipped lunch...you wanna go grab a bite at the PearlBurger? They have some really nice jelly fries there." Gwen asked politely.

"Oh ya..It sucks. I know...I sence people's energy's. I am VERY talkative. But only when I want to be. Otherwise, I am almost silently shy." Gwen laughed

"Oh, sorry. I am Gwen. Short for Gwendalynne Montez Unidos Sarah Karrington. All those names are my dads, and his dads, and his dads...except Gwen. Gwen was my moms name. And people wonder why I am often so...rude...well, if you had to stcik mermaid for the rest of yourself, and your parents died a few millenias ago...would you be in tip top shape?" Gwen mused mumbling about nothing really.

Gwen chuckled, having had watched the whole preformance from only a few feet away. "I could get along well with you, Tosh." she grimaced, thinking of the display she had put on to rid her of her awful friend.

As Gwen watched Pearl dive into the cool water below, she flopped in herself, chrystalizing the water where she touched it with her skin. This was one of Gwen's powers. She got away with using them often, as she was always mermaid and never human. As she twirled below and farther down under, a sparkle of light caught her eyes in the sand below.

"Ah..bye Pearl..the magnificent.." Gwen scoffed in her choice of words.

Once Gwen realized that Pearl was done with her fairy tale, she poked her head out from under the water and flashed Pearl a smile.

"Nice story, kiddo." Gweb teased annoyingly.

Gwen snorted under the thin protection of the ocean. She finally decided she wanted to give...Iris...a demonstration. Gwen sucked up all the water she could and jumped 10 feet into the air, splurting water ALL over Iris, but blinding her with the sudden splash of sea water. And, as quickly as Gwen was out, she was back in.

Gwen sat back and floated. She would love to hear Pearl try to explain something like, "Oh ya, I am a mermaid, and we have tails and um...ya...and I swim....and the water is like waaaay polluted, so can you pass on the word, NO polluting near oceans." Gwen broke out laughing at the thought of Pearl trying to explain.

Gwen snickered under the surface as she imitated Pearl. She loved to tease her half-mortal enemy. Of course, they weren't REAL enemy's, but Gwen never got along with anyone. Even nice mermaids.

Gwen was staring furiously at the pirate when she was interupted by sudden bursts of laughter from under the surface. She grimaced as she remembered how well mermaids could hear. She stared back over at the pirate, flailing over the fact that he was not interested in her beautiful half poise over the ocean, her tale whisking back and forward protected by the thin sheet of ocean. She finally decided the pirate wasn't worth it, as his captain was starting to get edgy, and her powers of charm had not worked on the pirate. She thought there would be more of him in the future, and struggled to get his name, reaching farther toward them to listen. Gussano, she heard, over and over again at the seamingly distracted pirate. She rolled her eyes at the silly name and dove down under to fond out what the commotion was.

Gwen swam close enough to the wreck to hear a faint mumbling from one of the pirates. He had spotted an early morning jogger on one of the nearby shores. He gazed at her stunningly beautiful form.'

Gwen sat on a rock far from the other mermaids. She hated that they could all turn human when they wished. She could never have legs, she thought as she stared at her red tail. She sighed as she dove into the crisp water. She reached the bottom in no time at all, only to find that ahead, about 20 yards from her, a gigantic pirate ship was sinking. In legends it was told that the only person who had power enough to break spells, were pirates, however you had to convince them.
