Good luck with SBT2 everyone.

Iram, that review was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes! Thank you, that really brings home the importance of reading to children.
Thanks all! I agree, Iyabo, that retelling of Beowulf is truly spectacular. Carli, did you know that Neil Gaiman was inspired by Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Books? It makes sense- Mowgli is raised by the creatures of the jungle, and Bod is raised by the "creatures" of the Graveyard, but ultimately they must both rejoin their own worlds.

Thanks Ciaran. I gave up on this book, personally! Liz Kessler's most recent book, North of Nowhere is far stronger in my opinion.

Please make sure your posting links to your reviews rather than books, Jade.
Thanks P2, some great reviews. Have you come across any early chapter books that you enjoyed, that you might use with Y2? I really liked Operation Bunny and Utterly Me, Clarice Bean.

Emma, please could you make sure that you are linking to your reviews rather than books?
Thanks Cuong! Feel free to keep reviewing into SBT2 and 3, or to save books onto your virtual bookshelf.
Thanks Deb, Carlena and Katie! Great reviews. Deb, have you read any other of Shel Silverstein's picture books? I don't much like The Giving Tree, but I do like The Missing Piece
Thanks, Chris and Matt. Matt, you've posted your reviews as comments. Please could you copy them and paste as reviews, or they will not show up in your list at the end of the PGCE.
