I'm going to read The Shadow Of The Wind (in the process of reading through everything on my kindle before I let myself buy anything new.
I have a horrible habit of reading a book for the challenges and not posting! I read Kinand quite enjoyed it. It had a modern Texas Chainsaw Massacre feel to it.
A Confederacy of Dunces. I read extremely quickly and it's the only book I've ever struggled so much with that I wanted to give up. I know its supposed to be a classic, and I love all things New Orleans, but I just couldn't get into it.
I can't go without my kindle, I still buy physical versions of books I love, but I read quite a lot so the kindle not only helps with the not needing to carry two or three books at a time, but also with finances. I may have also just purchased an evening clutch that would fit my kindle in it *just in case* i get stuck somewhere when I'm out and can sneak in some reading.
if you use the US Amazon, this book is worth picking upLibba Brays the Diviners

1. Time of Day: 3am, while it may hold all of my secrets its also a great time to watch the stars and read.
2. Food:
Anything New Orleans, I love Gumbo and morning's aren't complete without chicory coffee.
3. Drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic):
I'm pretty sure I fuel myself of coke and coffee, but I can't go past a good mojito or mint julep.
4. Band/singer:
Nirvana. I wish it was still the 90's. I don't think another act has changed the face of music in such a large way since, love them or hate them Nirvana drove a change in music culture that the myspace/youtube generation won't see.
5. Actor:
Peter Dinklage, for an actor who could have easily followed the path of least resistance for roles he has consistently picked interesting and challenging roles.
6. Spot in Australia:
Big River, I grew up in Eildon and it's one place that still feels like home.
7. Team/Sport:
I'm not a huge fan of sports. I played Roller Derby for years but can't pick on team!
8. Car:
I love my beat up corolla, 400,000k's and going strong!
9. Animal:
Lions, in particular the lioness at my work, Jarrah. I'm lucky enough to work at a Zoo and there's nothing better than going to watch her.
10. Activity
Reading. It sounds obvious on here but I've recently gotten back into reading and am devouring 2-3 books per week. Its the perfect way to force my brain to switch to a different station.
11. Things to collect
Artwork! I have a serious addiction to Daniel Danger's work, I met him at a music conference and fell in love with his work, I've now run out of wallspace.
