My favourite Aussie authors are Bryce Courtenay, Stephanie Laurens and I've read a few Di Morrisey.

I know Stephanie Laurens wasn't born here, but she was raised here, moved to the UK, then came back to reside in Melbourne. I really like her Cynster series.

My favourite Bryce Courtenay book, would have to be "Jessica".

I'm checking out some of the authors you've all mentioned.
