721 And I bet it all goes away on Monday. No one minds the “store” on weekends and this is a holiday one.

Thank you!
721 Hi librarians!

Would you please add the Audible Audio edition of Guilty Mothers by Angela Marsons?

Description
She lies on the floor, her blue eyes wide and unseeing, arms outstretched as if begging for help. Kneeling next to her, wearing a purple sequinned ballgown and holding a knife in shaking hands, is her daughter…

In a quiet kitchen, where two mugs wait by the kettle to be filled, Sheryl Hawne lies in a pool of blood. Her only daughter, Katie, is found at her side, still clutching the murder weapon and apparently incapable of speech. To Detective Kim Stone, the case seems open and shut. But Katie is in no state to be questioned, so Kim and the team must dig deep to understand what triggered this brutal act.

Soon, they learn that Katie participated in beauty pageants as a child, and her mother kept a shrine to her achievements. As Kim gazes at the golden trophies and shiny rosettes, she is forced to wonder if this was what set Katie on the path to murder…

But then Kim receives a shocking call. Another woman is dead. And with Katie safely locked up, she cannot be the killer. The second victim also entered her daughter in pageants, and a broken tiara is found thrust down her throat. Someone clearly feels that these mothers are guilty – and that they deserve to die. Forcing back the memories of her own monstrous mother, Kim vows to find justice for these women, no matter what pain they caused.

Now more than a day behind their killer, Kim races to learn more about a competitive world where appearances are everything and mothers will go to any lengths to ensure their daughters triumph. Buried somewhere in this dark past is the key to unlocking the case… but will Kim be able to find it before another family is destroyed forever?

The twentieth book in the international, multi-million-copy bestselling series, Guilty Mothers will have you glued to the pages. Fans of Karin Slaughter, Val McDermid and Robert Dugoni will devour this gripping crime thriller.

Thank you, Sandra! That’s why I stopped using it. They kept getting deleted by GR Support.
721 Hi librarians!

Would you please add the Audible audio and Audiobook editions of The Night We Lost Him by Laura Dave?

Description
From the author of The Last Thing He Told Me—the #1 New York Times bestselling blockbuster and Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick—comes an epic love story wrapped in a riveting mystery.

When the patriarch of a famed hotel empire dies under suspicious circumstances, his daughter and her estranged brother join forces to find out what happened, unraveling a larger mystery about who their father really was.

Liam Noone was many things to many people. To the public, he was an exacting, self-made hotel magnate fleeing his past. To his three ex-wives, he was a loving albeit distant family man who kept his finances flush and his families carefully separated. To Nora, he was a father who often loved her from afar—notably a cliffside cottage perched on the California coast from which he fell to his death.

The authorities rule the death accidental, but Nora’s brother Sam has other ideas. Sam, who she barely knows. As Nora and Sam form an uneasy alliance to unravel the mystery, they start putting together the pieces of their father’s past—and find an unexpected answer about their own future.

Doubling down on her trademark soulful suspense, The Night We Lost Him is an evocative and unforgettable page-turner about what it means to be the witness of someone’s life.

721 Hi Sandra and other librarians! I listen to most of my books and the support group doesn’t seem to feed the audible or digital audiobooks anymore except the CD versions. My current and future requests will generally be those types.

Please add the Audible and digital download audiobook editions for The Last One at the Wedding by Jason Rekulak. Here’s the info for them both.

Description
From the bestselling author of Hidden Pictures comes a breathtaking work of suspense about a father trying to save his daughter from a life-altering decision that will put everything he loves on the line.

Frank Szatowski is shocked when his daughter, Maggie, calls him for the first time in three years. He was convinced that their estrangement would become permanent. He’s even more surprised when she invites him to her upcoming wedding in New Hampshire. Frank is ecstatic, and determined to finally make things right.

He arrives to find that the wedding is at a private estate—very secluded, very luxurious, very much out of his league. It seems that Maggie failed to mention that she’s marrying Aidan Gardner, the son of a famous tech billionaire. Feeling desperately out of place, Frank focuses on reconnecting with Maggie and getting to know her new family. But it’s difficult: Aidan is withdrawn and evasive; Maggie doesn’t seem to have time for him; and he finds that the locals are disturbingly hostile to the Gardners. Frank needs to know more about this family his daughter is marrying into, but if he pushes too hard, he could lose Maggie forever.

An edge-of-your-seat thriller that delves deep into the heart of one family, The Last One at the Wedding is a work of brilliant suspense from a true modern master.

I never used an ISBN for the digital audiobook since it’s optional and the support group often erroneously uses them for other editions. If you prefer adding one, it’s 9781250354044. I’ve included the link to the publisher’s site for reference, along with the Amazon link.

Also, the description is missing from the Amazon audible edition but looks perfect on the Kindle edition (missing from the publisher, too).

Thank you SO much for your help. Let me know if I’ve omitted something.

*Years ago, Rivka okayed the listening length to be included in the book description. I used to place it at the top, above the description text.

721 Hello, everyone! I’m Jonetta but am not an Aussie, though I do have a niece living in Brisbane. I had the good fortune of attending her wedding, staying in Mooloolaba and visiting Sydney. It ranks as one of my best travels ever.

I’m here solely for librarian help but didn’t want to start showing up and you wondering why. Many friends here and thanks to Brenda for the invitation.
