721 Oh no, I keep telling myself I'll request less so I can actually read some of the books I've purchased rather than ARCs....but nope, keep going to Netgalley!
Thanks Helen :) And Brenda

721 Well done Sandy. Looks like you have read a great selection of books.
721 Brenda wrote: Yes, it's always better! Plus a few of us had things on on the weekend, which dropped the page count a little. But it's fine, as we all read and enjoyed it. That's the most important thing.."

Yeah I think the long weekend didn't help. Lots happening. But everyone managed to squeeze some reading time in, so that's awesome!
721 Not as many as I would have liked - but it's something...

The Limestone Road - 206 pages
Ciao Bella!: Six Take Italy- 186 pages
The Wrong Brother: A New Adult College Romance - 96 pages

Total = 485 pages
721 Easier fo just add totals for Friday/Saturday rather than seperate.

The Limestone Road - 206 pages
Ciao Bella!: Six Take Italy - 101 pages
721 I’ve not been reading as much as I hoped this weekend. Partly as I’ve been struggling with the book I’m reading - The Limestone Road.
I’ve also been listening to an audiobook so will update later today when I get a chance.

I'm like, nope. DO.NOT.REQUEST.ANYMORE until you have read the books you have....then clicked on Weathering the Storm and it's about a TV dating show- I hate watching them but love reading about them....and I'm auto approved....so what's a girl to do.....keep reading I guess.
721 Yes please

721 Oh I haven't read it so I hope it becomes available for us all!
Feb 14, 2025 01:18AM

721 Thanks Sharon. I need to read that one for the Rachael Johns book club so I'll request it!

721 Finished.
Even though I picked easy I found this hard....I think I don't have favourites! I have lots of many likes so I struggled with what's my favourite.

721 up for request:
The Stranger at the Table: The domestic noir hit of 2025. Poisonous lies, family secrets, addiction and revenge are all on the menu. For readers of Sally Hepworth, Jo Dixon and Ali Lowe by Cassie Hamer

and

Right Way Up by Fiona McCallum

I just got auto approved by Harlequin Australia - so mega excited about that...could be dangerous though - I already request too much :P

721 I just got an email about the changes to the formats. I’m a kindle reader so no impact to me but I dislike the publishers that don’t send to kindle (Harper Collins Australia -but the UK stream do!) so I feel your pain. Reading on a phone is not enjoyable for me.
