50x66 1.)The book i chose for contemporary fiction was "A Light In August". I chose this book because it seemed to be intesting about an unheard of lifesyle for the time period.

2.) This book is about a small town in the 1920's. In this story their is a preganet teenager names luna, that is going to the city of where she believes that the father of her baby lives. She goes to the town and she could not find anyone by the name that she was told. Luna ends up in the center of the drama of the small town going on at the time. She ends up having the baby and finding the father.

3.)Yes, I enjoyed this book, I think it was confusing at times, but had alot of drama and I think it was very intresting.

4.) I would recommend this book to others because I think it was entertaining. Alot of things happened in the book that i would not expect to happen in the 1920's. This book would really appeal to anyone in my oppinion.

50x66 My favoite book would have to be "A Child Called "It"". This was a sad book but it turned out to have a okay ending. Another thing that i think it interesting about this book is that it is written by the author "Dave Pelzer". The book was about his childhood life and how he was abused by his mother, and eventually taken by the police. I look forward to reading the second book the the sequil "The Lost Boy" sometime soon
