I chose Water for Elephants as my book. I chose this book becasue I loved the movie and I figured the book would be ten times better. This book is about a young boy named Jacob whos parents die so he leaves his old life behind and jumps on a circus train. Then everything from elephants to zebras to falling in love encounters Jacob. I loved this book because of its detail and use of language also because I like elephants and watering things. But if i was to reccomend this book to anyone it would be to a older person because of some of the situations and language used in this book. Overall, it was amazing.

One of my favorite books would have to be The Cupcake Queen by Heather Hepler. It is about a young girl in high school who has to move from her city life in New York to the small town of Hogshollow. She's not exactly excited about this, actually she hates the whole idea of moving away from her friends and her dad. But after she makes friends and meets that special guy everything seems to be okay. Until someone just seems to have to mess it up. But it still has an amazing ending that I could read over and over again. That's why The Cupcake Queen is one of my favorite books.
