One of my favorite books is The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks. I've read many of his books and I always love them, but I'd have to say that this book is my favorite by him. This book isn't just one of his typical love stories, but it actually has some mystery in it. It's a book that makes you always want to know what's coming next, and when you do find out it just blows your mind. I read this book around the beginning of 9th grade, and it's probably the book that really made me love Nicholas Sparks.

For my contemporary fiction book, I picked Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks. I picked this book because Nicholas Sparks books are always amazing and I love them all.

The story was about a heartbroken man named Garrett. After his wife Catherine died he started writing letters to her, putting them in bottles, and throwing them into the ocean. Theresa finds one and it leads her on a search where she eventually meets Garrett.

I loved reading this book, because it was so sweet yet sad at the same time. It really is a great love story.

I recommend this book to someone if they are looking for a good love story to read.
