Leila's dad is exactly like Cat's mom, Justina was. I wanted to kill her most of the time.

Lol, okay here's my favorite qoute then:

Favorite scene is a tie between where they're chasing the vamp chick and where Leila kicks everyone's ass on the boat.

Favorite character... hm that's hard because I like Vlad and Leila obviously, so besides them, I really liked Gretchen and Maximus (i feel like I'm the only one lol)

What I want to see... pretty much the same as Shelley, an EPIC showdown between Szilagyi and Vlad where Leila helps too because I friggin' love her abilities. And MORE Vlad lines. I know he's the silent type, but seriously, it's like if he was one of the secondary characters.

Mencheres has his own book too, but veteran Frost readers met him in the NH series first indeed. You don't have to read those, but why wouldn't you? They're awesome, and if you think Vlad or Mencheres are the bomb..wait until you meet Bones and Ian ;)

So, anyway we're on chapter 24/25/26 today. I know you guys already finished it, but let's stick to the schedule in case someone wants to join the discussion.

- Leila's dad is hopeless...
- Leila with her overthinking, constant worrying attitude is a bit annoying at this point, but her reasoning is flawless.
- The romantic Vlad. Okay, I was the one who said he needed to show his real feelings, but whoa. The way like it just flew out of his mouth all at once made it a bit too cheesy. He was sweet, but maybe too sweet, IMO. (Yeah, I know I’m indecisive).

So, fan question:

-If you'd marry Vlad, what kind of wedding dress would you wear? (you can describe it or give us a picture)

Btw - When I read it, first I was like.. F*ck! This is supposed to be Vlad's series... now where the heck is he?? Instead of him we got Leila and Max running around, dying... so it kinda pissed me off a little, but then I found myself enjoying their little mission... but that's for the next day.. don't want to spoil anything :D

Welcome on day 3 let's talk about Chapters 6/7/8


HOLYSHITHOLYSHITHOLYSHIT!! Who pissed off a dragon??? Wait... thank GOD for Vlad's gift!

Well this situation pretty sucks (still Marty is the sweetest vamp I've ever seen - this hurts!!). Going back to old life? Scratch that. Time to try out something else. Yeah that worked out pretty good too. Looks like trouble follows Leila anywhere (much like Cat - damn these girls can't get any rest). Okay, so Maximus is a.) trying to play a hero and win over Leila's heart, betraying his master and friend in the process OR b.) He's the bad guy and Leila better watch out...

Either way, I like this guy, so he better not do anything stupid... (or more than he's already done so far).

Fun question(s):

- What do you think, Is Max the bad guy or he's working for the big fish or he's just suffering from platonic love?

- Who shed tears for Marty?? (Admit it!)

Vlad needs to realize that not everything will always go his way and not everyone's gonna do what he wants, especially when they don't know what is it he wants, since he's a man of few words... so the person who wants to "teach" him, change him has to take drastic moves, like Leila did. She has to make him fight for them (unlike his ex lovers did), not take their relationship for granted. Actually it's the same as in real life. Most girls don't have the bone to stand up for themselves, so the guys don't feel like they have to change anything and eventually they'll feel nothing and will move on....

Oh it's a funny thing, because I KNEW that wasn't going to be that ring, but was still expecting the same as Leila...ha! I love her, cuz she has a strong backbone and I respect her for that but I agree that she sometimes overreacts things and doesn't think. However I think she did good, that'll definitely wake up Vlad
