Anyone??? Any comments??? We haven't heard from a couple of you yet. I know Deann was starting later. Anyone else?

Now that everyone has most likely caught up... Does anyone have a question(s) for the group? Something to share from the book? How about this question... who/what was someone or thing that irritated you in this book or series? A character that got on your nerves or under your skin? Someone you love to hate? I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours... ;)

Well Andie's got our questions so I've gotta think a bit. Fave scene or quote? Lordy! Lol. Leila's got some great ones. What would I like to see next? The big bad getting his ass kicked for good. ;)

I loved it too, guys! At this point everyone should be wrapping it up. I know some were waiting to read and post comments until they completed the book. So... it's safe to say it's a free for all now. Ask questions, chat about whatever you want to bringup, examine or compare. Got for it. ;)

Three times?!?! Awesome. It is a pretty quick read. I finished too. I couldn't stop myself. And I would def read it again. ;)

No worries! You and Vanessa have been the most active commentors. It's easy to get ahead.

I have to say I still love Max. I can understand Leila's protecting him. In the end all that he did was for her, wrong or right.

I was not at all surprised that Vlad went full bore with the wedding. What he did that I loved most was further ahead.
To Andie's question... the dress I would pick would be old Hollywood; sleek, streamlined and elegant, not too fancy or over the top.

And now I'm lost in the schedule and not sure what else I can say so... I'll let someone else comment and get us back on track.

Do we need Andie to ask us questions or do you guys just want to comment as something strikes you? ;)

Where's the chatter, girls? Holiday is over. Summer break is here for a few... I wanna hear what you think. SO much takes place but yet so much is left to discover. What are your thoughts???

Vanessa, I'm with you, now that I've caught up I want to read the rest of the way through.

What I've got to say about the wedding? Not at all surprised that Vlad would go to that extreme. Not. At. All. Now Leila? She surprised me quite a bit. But then again, aren't a few of her choices really made for her? Hmm.

I didn't predict the next events or who the traitor was. I was a bit worried about Max. ;)

Nope. May 6th was the start. No worries, Deann. The schedule is at the beginning of the discussion tab. Just follow the chapter dates so you don't see any spoilers and jump in whenever you can. I'm a couple of days behind so I won't be commenting for a bit. But don't worry about being able to participate, we know you do when you can. ;)

Ok guys, I'm staying away for a few days until I have a chance to catch up after my review reads. I'm seeing things I can't erase. *My eyes. My eyes* Lol.

Excellent observations, Jen. And full of commonsense. I hope Leila and Vlad can wholly come together. And Vlad and Max don't have some ridiculous showdown over vamphood and loyalty. I also hope we see more of Menchere.

So I have questions about chapters 15/16/17...

What another emotional rollercoaster for Leila. Her powers keep growing and her faith and trust are constantly tested. My heart always aches with her loneliness and heartbreak.

Was anyone surprised by Vlad's appearance?
His arrogance is... well...
What did you think of manipulation of Leila?
Do you think Max will fully recover... and back off with his intentions toward Leila?

I haven't read The Night huntress series yet, so I don't know much about Menchere but he sure is intriguing...

And when it's all said and done... Is there still hope for our favorite power couple?

I can't imagine what happens next or who's behind the attacks.

What stood out in these chapters for you? Did Vlad respond as you expected? Do you think he'll forgive Maximus? Who do you think is after Leila and/or out to get Vlad?

So much has happened in a few short chapters. **WARNING!!! CHAPTERS 12,13 and 14 SPOILERS***
Marty is gone, we're all still wondering...
*if we can trust Maximus... and hasn't he gotten brave?
*Just wtheck did happen to the brunette vamp?
*Does anyone else think it's someone other than Vlad haunting Leila's dreams?
And now they're kidnapped... on a boat??? WOW.
Thoughts on Hannibal and who he could be delivering Leila to?

Lol. I don't feel that way about Max at all but I can see where you would have that perception of him. He knows a good woman when he sees one though. ;)
