I wonder how I get my profile pic centered inside the box? Duh! It's inside the box on my profile. Any suggestions?
I like to use first person present tense in middle grade and YA books. I think it works really well; especially if I'm describing a specific place. And for YA, a specific horror or an urgent fast-paced scene. The reader can see it and feel it as the character goes through it. This also works well for third person. I chose to go with first, though, on these two.
Thank you for inviting me to your group, Randy. Lovin' your blog. Interestingly enough, I have two WIP; both in first person POV. Although one has alter personalities in it...hmmmm just thought of that. Yes, first person for them too. One contemporary romance is written in third person. I agree that if written well, first person is very powerful. I think it gets you into that character's head so that you feel you are the character.
