Thank you!!! I do know that the English dubs of Cardcaptor and Digimon are clean. I've gotten mixed reviews about Fairy Tale. I have heard it gets fanservice-y after episode 150. I should probably add it to the list though. (*´▽`*)

I've posted this discussion in another group before, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to get even more suggestions (o^▽^o)

I would like to get a list together of clean anime and manga. It can be upsetting to try to sift your way through the anime world if some of the popular titles contain stuff you're not comfortable with. I know it's really hard to find but I also know that it exists! Think of something you would be ok watching with a 8-13 year old.

For me clean means: 1). Absolutely no hentai (two characters lying in bed, implying that they've had sex is ok, but nothing more than that) 2). No nudity 3).Modest costumes: think about Disney princess movies on this one. Characters should generally be modest. They don't need to be dressed like nuns and priests but some things should be left to the imagination. 4). Some violence is ok but nothing too graphic 5).Mild language: d*mn, h*ll, *ss, b***trd, b**ch are all expected in shoujo and shounen (though not preferred), absolutely no f-words, keep sh** to a minimum (preferably not at all).

Let's use video game ratings. Even new anime and manga fans will understand these ratings. Plus, there is a big difference between what a 10 year old should watch vs what a 13 year old watches, most rating systems don't cover the space in between. E (everyone) E 10+ (10 and up) T (13 and up) M (17 and up) A (18 and up). If you think it's between two of the ratings list them both.
