I agree with path of exile . I got it wen it first came out a while ago but wasn't in the mood . Been playing it non stop since picking it up again . Having a blast , everyone seems social and friendly but I can play on my own too . Doesn't seem overly repetitive and I'm enjoying it heaps.

Big Fan of Robin Hobb and Patrick Rothfuss. Amazing Characterization in these books and just great story tellers. two authors that I have cried the most in their stories.

Newly converted lover of Brandon Sanderson due to just finishing The Way of Kings which is planned for 10 books . that story blew my socks off.

J K Rowling has a special place in my heart as I have read Harry Potter over 20 times. my number one favourite story and I cry and laugh out loud everytime in exactly the same bits.

Although I'm still about 5 books off finishing The Wheel of Time and I sulked a bit during the middle of the series due to the long winded mid series slowness Robert Jordan is still one of my fav authors for bringing such a great story to life and a great character like Matrim Cauthon.. :)

and of course George R R Martin because as well as being a great series he brought one of my favourite shows to life ..

Hi everybody, I have been here for a few months but I have been quite non active.... sorry .. Thought it was time to introduce myself in the hope I can add and be added by some of you like minded people and so I may participate in some of the group reads and such. I'm an Aussie although I live in New Zealand.

The biggest geeky love for me is fantasy . anything fantasy! books, tv shows and games. Some favourites include Harry Potter, The Wheel of Time, The Way of Kings, The Name of the Wind,The Liveship Traders and Assassins apprentice. Big fan of epic or high fantasy novels and swords and sorcery stuff.

The games I love include Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Kingdoms of Amalur, Dragons Dogma, Uncharted etc.. and always looking to team up with other people for multi player on either play station or pc. up for trying out new games!

I absolutely love sci fi when it comes to tv and movies... big big fan of Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica. Lord of the Rings for fantasy on the big screen !

Would love to get in to graphic novels. would love to start getting them on my tablet for lunch breaks at work etc. suggestions would be great . cheers and look forward to chatting with u all.

by far my favourite video game/s are the Mass Effect Triology. Amazing story line, great game play and heaps of choices.

I also loved the Uncharted trilogy and being a fantasy geek:

Dragon Age origins
Dragon Age 2 (although the story line wasn't as epic as origins )
Kingdoms of Armalur
Fable 2
Skyrim

Currently playing the Witcher 1 then on to the Witcher 2 and Dragons Dogma. :)

I'm also excited about The Last of Us and also want to give the new Tomb Raider a go :)
