I have read them and LOVED them because I am a King fan! A great mix of fantasy and horror, and I've always been fascinated by doors that lead to other worlds to and from ours. One of the books drags a bit but otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed it! I'd love to hear what you think of the ending! Huge debates over that!!!

The Magician Trilogy is a must-read! I highly recommend it!

Firstly, thanks for the invite, Joe! As to the question, I haven't read your book yet so I would have to say I love the character Pug in Raymond E. Feist's Magician. No one thought much of him and he became a very powerful wizard and prooved to everyone that he was someone to be reckoned with.
After him I'd say I like the Druids in all the Shannara Series' by Terry Brooks, and the Knights of the Word in the prequels. Strong characters - all a little tortured but who pull through and become magnificent!
