75015 SCC has been around since 2012 and was created to give challenge participants a "second chance" at completing some of the great challenges here on Goodreads which typically have time limits. The original creator Cherie wanted to go beyond that, and give others a place to work on challenges at their own pace. I personally have loved this group ever since I stumbled on it some time back. Having any kind of a family life and full-time job limits my reading time but I have love reading challenges since I was a kid so having the time restrictions removed is a perfect fit for my life and I hope it is for you as well.

I ended up here when Jingles, the previous moderator, needed to step down. I don't have a lot of spare time but when I do I like spending it on these challenges. I would love to see this group continue to grow and be active. Send me a message with any concerns or questions.

Please keep reading below to learn a little bit more and about the group guidelines.

75015 New Challenge Alert!!!

75015 Wild is a biographical novel about a woman who finds herself at a fork in the road. Knowing she needs to make a change, she decides to take an adventure. Hiking a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail she finds she is both emptied out and yet filled up again by the end. Very inspirational!

During this trek in the wilderness she reads, of course, like we all would.

Here's the challenge!

Read Wild and each book on the burned list found at the back of wild or the alternative if one is provided. After each book include your favorite quote or passage from the book you read, just like Cheryl did at the trail registry's she signed.

Wild From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed

Alternatives are given as the guide books are probably only interesting to someone wanting to hike the trail. I am interested in them just to see the pictures :) Happy reading!

75015 Hey everyone,

I'm excited to maintain this group and hopefully keep it as well as Jingles did.

I am married, mother of three who works full time in a hospital. My kids are grown although one is still living upstairs (hardly see her lol). I really can't stand my job so reading is my mini vacation from yucky things like housework, people, and regular work. Please let me know if there is something I'm missing as we go along. I'm new to this and will be learning as I go :)
