Cassandra’s comments from the Lending Nook books group.

I am sorry for never being on here, having a toddler and going to college and job searching takes most of my time away. I have finals next week and wanted to inform everyone I will be on here more often. We will begin doing a book or genre of the month if any one is interested. Let me know what you guys would like out of this group or if you have any ideas. I hope that everyone is doing great and hopefully getting some good reading done ^-^

Tell us what you are reading an how it has been so far. This may give someone an idea about what to read next. ^-^

We need to get some ideas on here so that I can post a poll and we can decide before November what our BOTM is going to be. Thank you and I hope that you all participate

I do not have many good lend me books because i have not had much time to read, but...there is a lend me section on the nook. You add people via email address. Once they accept your request you can view their lend-able books and they can view yours. If you want to borrow one you ask. you can only lend a book once to one person. The period that you will have the book is 14 days. I hope this helps.

I hope to build our group larger and have a great community of people. This does not have to be specifically books..it could be a discussion topic you would like to talk about. No limits to what suggestions could be. ^-^ Have fun with it

Those are good suggestions. Thank you. I hope that more people give some. I will be taking suggestions until Friday at 12am. Then I will be putting up a poll for the suggested books.

Horror seems like the perfect genre for this month! I will look into some more books as well. This way I can put a poll up or something and hopefully get peoples' opinions. I will be sure to add your books to the poll ^-^

I am sorry that I was so bust this month. I am job hunting, and taking 6 college classes, and caring for my 15 month old son. I will be sure to make time for now on. I am hoping to get a good amount of suggestions soon about a BOTM for October. I will then put up a poll with those suggestions and the winning book will be our group read for the month.
