76291 "I don't know," he muttered. "In all honesty, she's bitter, cold, and mean. Just like her name but for some reason I...I can't let myself get away from her. Perhaps I'm insane but there's some part of her that I'm desperate to reach and have not yet touched it. The part of her that needs to be protected and held no matter how wild she may come off." A slight smile flickered over his lips. "You must think me an idiot."

Frost rolled her eyes, "you're insane. You know that? Completely and utterly insane."

76291 Alexanders eyes widened and he looked away, blushing. Unsure of what to say. "I..." Taking a deep breath Alexander shoved his hands into his pockets and turned away, looking at the blue sky above. "Yes. Ever since we were kids I have..."

Frost folded her arms over her chest, but she was trying to hide the smile begining to turn her lips upward. "Your sarcasm is not appriciated, Rhodri."

76291 Alexander nodded and shoved his hands in his pockets, seemingly a little bit uncomfortable with the subject. "We've known eachother for awhile."

"You know," Frost said and whirled around. "I'm about five seconds away from punching you. I don't care who you think you are, but you should very well leave before things get ugly."

76291 Alexander paused for a moment, a little taken a-back. "I've known her since she was just a kid. There's not much to say abou how we met either. Why? Why do you want to know?"

"You're only saying that because your brother told you to," Frost called back, not even bothering to glance back at him. She could tell by the venom in Rhodri's voice that he was highly irritated. Well, so was she. "Come back and apologize when you actually CARE."

76291 Alexander shrugged and knelt down next to her, plucking a flower. "This one is relatively safe. What are you picking them for anyway?"

Frost didn't stop, hurrying her pace as she heard foot steps behind her. She didn't feel like speaking to anyone as of the moment. Especially when her mood had been soured by Rhodri.

76291 She grit her teeth, hating the snide in his tone. It was incredible how one man could have such a large ego. Frost felt her hands curl into fists. "You act like a child and what's worse is that you're incredibly narcissistic. You-ugh!" She threw her hands up in the air. "I'm done with this! You. This island. Everything!"
She turned and began stalking off.

Alexander, curious as to what she was doing, strode up to Azara and kneeled down next to her. "What are you looking at?" He asked with amusement.

76291 Frost blinked at their closeness and then narrowed her gaze, taking a step away from him. "What you're doing is only a waste of time." She said. "Besides, I don't DATE older men."

Alexander couldn't even nod as he tried keeping pace with Braemier. He could already hear their voices nearby. Frost was saying something that vaugely sounded like she was going around and around with Rhodri again.

76291 Frost stepped around him so that they were face to face, her eyes narrowed in agitation. "WHAT relationship?" She spat. "And how are you hereby charming when all you do is hit on girls? In my dictionary, charming is someone people like to be around and you, boy, are not in any case close to that definition. Not even near it. I don't know how you've gotten other girls to fall for you but I will not be one of them in any case."

"It's not Rhodri's temper I'm worried about," Alexander said and looked up to meet Bramiers gaze. "It's' Frosts."

76291 Frost snorted, "Hardly. I'm quite older than I look. But anyway, being older physically doesn't mean you are older mentally. Thus, you are a child as well."

Alexander paled, worrying as he continued after Braemier. If what Braemier said was true about Rhodri, then Rhodri was in danger. Far worse then anyone could imagine.
Frost wasn't the stuck up girl she seemed. She had her own reasons for cutting off any sort of relationships that she could have with a human because of what she was. If Rhodri was smart-which Alexander doubted-then he would get far away from her. Frost of course, would try to get him to leave but if he angered her so, then Frosts temper would spike...Alexander swallowed...and everyone on the island would be in danger.

76291 Frost gave him a cold smile, "You're a simple human boy. You cannot understand." She shook her head, "But never mind about my own 'frosty tempter.'Let me ask you this, would you even be helping me if I wasn't a girl? Would you want to help me, not just for the sake of having me and then throwing me away, but just to help? Because I highly doubt it. I could sense it the moment I met you, Rhodri. You're a womanizer. Plain and simple. I have no problem with your siblings. It's you who I have the problem with."

Alexanders eyes widened in horror, "Scars? He didn't actually physically hurt you did he?"

76291 "Oh, because my pretty face is all your after?" Frost snapped. "How lucky of me. Well, if you hadn't noticed boy," spinning, Frost jabbed his chest with a finger. "I don't need your help. Nor do I want it. So why don't you just leave me alone?"

"What do you mean by that?" Alexander asked curiuosly. "A bored Rhodri being a dangerous one, I mean."

76291 Frost angrily swiped away the tears and shook her head. "Why do you keep following me anyway?" She asked to avoid having Rhodri ask her any questions that she didn't want to answer. "Really, I just don't understand you."

"That," Alexander said, "Is probably because you have higher standards than Rhodri. No offense, but the kid's a player. He's not playing for keeps, he just uses girls and tosses them aside. He's just looking for a good time, not necessarily a potential long time girlfriend like what you're hoping for. What you're doing takes time." He reached and patted Braemier's shoulder with a smile. "Trust me, for what it's worth, you'll have a girlfriend or a wife soon enough. You're a good guy, you just have to be patient."

76291 "Like I said, it's none of your business." Frost snapped and turned away. Tears were streaming down her eyes and she didn't want anyone to see. "So please, just leave me alone alright?"

Alexander slowed into step with Breamier and folded his arms over his chest, casting him a knowing glance. "You alright dude?"

76291 "Nothing." Frost shoved herself away from the tree, irritated with herself for showing such weakness and stalked past him. "It's none of your concern."

"Well then," He shot Azara a heart stopping grin, "we'll just have to speed things up a bit."

76291 Alexander stayed in pace with Azara. "Frost usually isn't into a lot of people. She tends to be a little- oh whats the word?-stand offish. But I guess if Rhodri is as a big of a player as you say then it might be good for him. Now," He said looking at her. "what did your brother mean by performance? Is he a singer or something?"

Frost jerked and slapped his hand away, her eyes startled and her heart pounding. When she'd braced her hand on the tree she'd seen something dark in her memory, something dark, dangerous, and completely wrong. She hadn't even known it was Rhodri who had touched her. She was shaking by the time she'd realized that it was just him. "S-sorry." She stammered.

76291 Frost stepped around a fallen tree, her eyes darting from plant to plant, frowning. What exactly had Alexander been talking about? What exactly had he found? She emitted a small squeak of surprise, catching herself from almost stumbling down a steep hill. Shooting daggers at the hidden danger, Frost tsked and brushed a hand over her eyes turning to glare up at the sun, squinting at the burning ball of fire through the lush canopy above.
Fire, she thought desperately. Flames, hot and boiling, lashing across her skin. Frost gasped, shaking the memory out of her head. No, no, not now. She couldn't think about that now. Irritated with herself for thinking of such trivial things, she braced a hand against the bark of a nearby tree, taking a deep breath, sweat trickling down the base of her neck and forced herself to focus.

Alexander barely spared a glance at her, grinning as he watched Rhodri follow after Frost, lacing his long arms behind his head in a lazy gesture. "Rhoddie. Pretty suiting nickname if you ask me." He chuckled and glanced at the brother and sister duo. "It seems that your brother has fallen under Frosts spell but- then again-they all do at one point or another...It's just a matter of time really."

76291 “I advise you to take a step back KID,” Alexander spat. “because I can’t promise I wont kick your butt if you don’t.”
Rolling her eyes, Frost stepped between them to create a decent amount of space. Slowly, she whirled on Alexander. He couldn’t even so much as blink when her fist flew, her knuckles colliding with his jaw, making him land on his back. “Ow!” He growled. “What was that for?”
“THAT,” Frost clarified. “Was for starting a fight with Rhodri.” She then turned on Rhodri and wasted no time at all in decking him. She watched with little sympathy as he fell to the ground. “And THAT was for calling me Frosty. Now, are there any doubts that I can’t take care of myself?” She didn’t wait for them to respond. “Good, then I’ll be taking my leave.” And with that, she turned a heel and stormed away, not waiting up for any of them as she disappeared into the cluster of trees.
Alexander glared after her, rubbing his jaw. “Damn she’s mean.”

76291 Alexander wrapped his arm around Frosts waist, amused by the scathing looks he'd been earning from Rhodri, an all too pleased chuckle escaping his lips. "No problem." He said. "A pleasure to meet you all. I'm Alexander if you hadn't noticed."
"And Alexander is going to get his arse kicked if he doesn't let go of me." Frost seethed, stepping away from the circle of Alexanders arm. She folded her arms over her chest as he let it fall to his side, amused eyes still watching her.
"Now you want to tell me why you're really here?" Frost snarled.
Alexander laced his arms behind his neck, lazily staring up at the sky. "Well, for any one of you who cares, I may have stumbled upon something that will give us clue to why we're on this island."
"And what would this 'thing'"-Luna said, empahsizing the air quotes with her fingers-"just so happen to be?"
Alexanders gaze fell back to her, eyes serious. "You'd have to follow me if you wanted to find that one out. Of course," He turned towards the siblings with his signature grin. "You may all join us if you wish. It would be a pleasure for the three of you to accompany us." His eyes found Rhodri's, taunting. "And I do mean all of you."
Frost tensed. Was he TRYING to start a fight with Rhodri?

76291 Frost peered at Rhodri and Azara, musing how Rhodri had gone from care free to deadly in a matter of seconds and how Azara had degraded herself by hiding behind her brother like a child. Swerving her gaze back to Alexanders, she leveled her glare with his sly grin. "What do you want?"

Alexander's grin grew as he approached her, letting his fingers touch the base of her neck. "I want what I always want," He said, lowering his head to hers. Frost felt her skin prickle. "A kiss." Alexanders breath tickled her lips, his lips having almost touched hers when she lashed a hand out and slapped him. Her fingers stung from the impact and she'd managed to leave a red mark on his cheek, but the grin on his face was still apparent as he stepped back, hands shoved lazily into his pockets. "I see you still haven't lost your touch." Alexander mused. "I was afraid you'd gone soft on me."
"You're insane." Frost breathed, trying not to flush. He'd been inches from actually kissing her, but what did she care? This was ALEXANDER they were talking about, the boy she'd helped when they were five from getting beat up on the streets. Her heart shouldn't have been beating like it was. After all, he'd only been joking.

76291 Frost started, "What are you trying to say-?" and paused when a masculine voice came from behind her, appearing from seemingly out of no where. "Well, well, well. If it isn't miss priss." The voice said. "So it seems somehow you and I both ended up here. How amusing." Jolting, Frost whirled around to see that a young man with startling blue eyes and dark shaggy hair was watching her. His leather jacket whipped against the slight winds, revealing his form fitting white t-shirt underneath, giving hint to a nice build. His jeans were ripped purposely, showing tanned skin. He'd grown a couple of inches on her since she'd last seen him and there was a tattoo of dark flames creeping up the side of his neck, disappearing underneath the collar of his shirt.
"Alexander?" Frosts eyes widened and then, mentally scolding herself for being caught offguard, she pulled her composure together and her eyes narrowed in suspicion. "What are you doing here?" She hissed.
Alexander shrugged, a sly grin teasing his lips. "I'm just like the rest of you. I have no idea how I got here either, but it seems," His eyes flashed to Braemier and his siblings. "That you've developed a new set of company. Quite a charming set really." He gave the three siblings a two fingered salute. "What's up?"
