76926 A bit late, but none the less, it was a phenomenal book!! It has become one of my favorites due to the fact that Kiera Cass incorporates a lot of humor while still creating a really good love triangle. Personally, I think the Prince would be more fitting for her because they bring out a lot of good qualities in each other. For example, Maxon was always in such a better mood and so much more at ease, it seemed, when she was around. She also gives him that connection to the outside, which he desperately needs. With Aspen, it seems more like just the physical connection, which isn't enough in a relationship.

I really liked America! (However, I really liked her little sister May the best lol! She is so full of energy and like a little fan girl; its hilarious to me!) She had a sense of humor, and she was not afraid to speak her mind. She was also always looking out for her family and friends, which is always a good quality :)

And to be really honest, I can't think of a single thing I hated, besides the obvious cliff hanger!! That killed!! But it just makes me excited for the next book :D Loved everything else about it, and I am recommending it to all my friends!! Definitely a 5-star rating for this book!

76926 I'd love to!
Where do I even begin though??! *Possibly some spoilers though!*
I thought that America was a strong heroine with a good sense of what she wanted out of life. She is also pretty in control of herself which came in handy whenever the palace was attacked by the rebels.
Also, at first, I was a little hesitant to like Prince Maxon because I thought something would work out between Aspen and America (somehow lol!). However, after meeting him that first night, I knew I had been wrong not to like him. He was so understanding and caring! He tried to make all the girls feel so special, even if he had given his heart to America. As for Aspen, I don't hate him, but I don't really like how he acted in the palace. I feel he was very inappropriate, and if he had approached America better in her room, I think I would like and respect him more.
As for a favorite outside the main characters, I love May!! She is so ridiculous!! :) She is like your everyday boy-obsessed little girl! Her letters made for good comedy in the story :)

76926 In between a full college load and work, I finished The Selection in less than a week which says a lot for a slow reader like myself lol!! It was AMAZING!!!!!!! :D
