The book i am currently reading is Dramd High: The Fight by L.Divine , i am on page 108 out of 202 pages.In the book jayd lives in Compton,Usa and goes to south bay high school in the wealthier neighborhood. Mainly the setting takes place in school because that is where all of the characters can come together and conflict arises and developts . Other settings include jayds house, partys, and the mall. places like jayds hous are commom setting because she is the main character and it lets us know what she is doing and how her actions will affect the next thing to happen . places like a party and mall bring characters together . This makes the setting a important part of the book.
The book i am currently reading is Drama High :The Fight by L.Divine . I am currently on page 45 out of 202.The Story is told through first person point of view so that i can tell/learn jayd's every day life. Through first person point of view i have learned who jayd lives with , her faimily members close friends, and personal thoughts and feelings. If this story was told from a differnt point of view i would not know her personal thoughts and feelings. Jayd's(the narrator) opinions influence the telling of the story because she is angry at an friend an from her point of view she finds many ways for her to be a bad friend . I trust the way the narrator vievs the story because she knows how the things happen. If the story was written form Misty(jayds ex bestfriend) she woulf feel like she did nothing wrong but try to help her bestfriend and fell like jayd is the one to blame.
I have read one book this year for SSR , it is Stolen by Lucy Christopher .i am on page 268 out of 299 pages. One Thing i hsve learned from this book is to relize and respect the beauty of nature. Another thig i have learned would be to never judge a book by its cover because your felling about a person can change once you get to know them. Lastly i learned that you should never talk to strangers at airports ! Gemma was kiddnapped when she talked to a stranger at an airport and taken half way across the world. My Experience with SSR Has Been Good I Think My Reading Skills have improved a little but i done like reading that much.
