Ivy’s comments from the Insanity group.

"I-I'm fine." Lacey said to Alex, "Just a little scratched up." She smiled weakly at him.

Echo shivered by the fire, rubbing sleep out of her eyes. This was too much for her. To chaotic.

"Thanks." Lacey said to Luke. She sipped the water gratefully.

"Hmph." Ash said as Beatrice and Rissy fought. He didn't know what to believe.

"The injured could use some water!" Lacey said her throat burning. "If you guys can stop bickering for two seconds!"

"You mean you left the...house?" Echo asked her blue eyes wide.

"Yes, she left the house." Lacey croaked from the couch. Despite being in a pretty critical condition she still had her sarcasm.

"Yeah, you do." Ash said to Kari. "And don't even open your mouth." He added to Lacey who looked like she was ready to protest as well.

Echo stared confused at the scene. "What's going on?"

"I'm not hungry-" Echo started to say when suddenly Beatrice suddenly appeared.

Ash cursed under his breath. He glanced over at Luke and David as if to ask them what the hell is going on. "Well, lets all just calm down, and we'll straighten this out after Kari and Lacey get help."

When Ash held out the pasta, Lacey shook her head. "Smurfette's too tired." She joked and then winced when she accidentally hit her hand.

Ash paced around, not sure what to do. It was too much for him, but he had to calm down and keep his cool. "Your right. And Lacey, you need the strength." He held out the bowl of pasta. "I'm not going to sit here, while you starve yourself." He added.

Echo tip-toed out of the boys room and slipped into the girls. Beatrice was no longer in the room. She hurried down the stairs and called out. "GUYS! Beatrice disappeared!!"

Lacey could smell the pasta, but she didn't have the strength to get up.

"I think it's stupid." Ash muttered aloud. "None of should've been put in this position. Beatrice shouldn't be out risking her live to save the two that need saving."

Lacey groaned in half-conciousness. No longer was just her arm burning, the pain had continued to her right leg as well. She knew there had to be some kind of infection, or she had lost too much blood. She tried to open her eyes, but they drooped back down.

Echo woke up from her nightmares with a start. Downstairs was a bit of commotion and she climbed out of the bed, not caring to make it back up. She cracked open the door to see if anyone was outside. It'd be pretty weird if anyone caught her leaving the boys room.

Ash stopped sulking in an empty room and came back to the living room, where Luke and David were suspiciouly whispering and Kari and Lacey were knocked out on the couch. It was hard to imagine their Lacey who tells people to shove it and isn't afraid to slap you, is lying on a couch sick and immobilized.

Lacey's right hand was turning numb again and she groaned. Half of her hand was numb and half of her hand felt like it was being chopped off.

Lacey groaned and rolled over on the couch. Every noise made her head pound worse.

Echo suffered through nightmares upstairs in one of the boys beds. It smelled faintly of men's cologne and pine needles.

"Ash gets angry over his beliefs. I believe the same thing too, but Ash has a bit of anger problems." Lacey said and sighed.

"We are locked in a freakin house! They want this! They want us to go insane, and die doing it." Ash said his voice raising. "Instead of letting us out there, they keep us locked up like f**kin animals!" He yelled, kicking the coffee table as he walked out of the room.

Lacey had jerked a bit in her half-concious state as Ash yelled. She rolled over a bit and stared at the faces above her. "Leave him be for a minute." She said. "He needs some alone time. I know him." Lacey said before closing her eyes again, but trying not to fall asleep. She didn't need nightmares.

"I think they should just rest on the couches for now." Ash said eyeing the two girls.

"Okay." Lacey said quietly as she took an a wobbly breath and closed her eyes. The small bite in her shoulder was nothing compared to the pain of this.

Echo silently shook in her sleep.

Echo entered the boys room. It was completly empty. With all the commotion downstairs she's sure no one would come upstairs anytime soon. She crawled into the nearest bed, no clue who's it was and fell asleep in a matter of seconds.

"It hurts." Lacey said in a meek voice with her eyes squeezed tight. "Really bad." She slowly loosened her fist up and let David look at it.

Ash reached over and put Kari's cup on the coffee table. They didn't need anymore accidents. "Be careful." He said in a worried tone.

Echo wandered upstairs. She peeked into the girls room and saw Beatrice. She slowly backed away. It was obvious the poor girl needed some alone time.

"Oh." Lacey winced. Her hand was suddenly throbbing and then started to feel like someone hammering it. "OH!" She said and squeezed her hand really tight in a fist, which is the worst thing you can do when you have stitches.

"Kit-kat..." Lacey said and ate it. "OREO TIME!" She said giggling.


"Anyone need anything?" Echo asked holding a box of kit-kats.

Lacey rolled her eyes. "Oreos. I like oreos." She said and pushed away the kit-kat. She looks down at her bandaged hand. "Rather attractive don't you think?" She said holding it up with a small smirk.

"Bravo, the rude Smurf is back to herself!" Ash called out jokingly.

Lacey was back conscious, and was able to drink the tea. Her right hand was still numb and her arm was caked with blood. David and Ash were on the right and Luke was on the left. "What are you guys doing?" She asked with a suspicious look at the three. They nervously looked down at her. She looked down at herself and her eyes widened. Her shirt had dipped down to show half of a lacy black bra. "You pervs, I'm dying and your still trying to see how good of a view you can get of my cleavage. Really?" She stood up and collapsed back into the guys arms. "Oopsies. Guess I'm not ready to do that." She mumbled and sat back in the chair. "Anyways..." She said fixing her shirt with her good arm. "How long was I out-" She started to say when she saw her hand. "Holy sh*t." Lacey exclaimed. There was at least thirty stitches in her hand.

"Your okay!" Echo suddenly said from across the room where she had been crying. "I thought..." She trailed off.

Ash was standing behind David and smirked about Lacey's comment. None of them had been checking her out, but it was good to know she was okay.

Lacey's dark blood pooled on the floor underneath the chair she sat in. Her body went limp and her eyes rolled back in her head.

"LACEY!" Echo screeched. "DO SOMETHING! SOMEONE!" She yelled frantic as she tried to hold Lacey up.
