"On page 47, during my reading i notice how Gerald's mother has changed from the beginning to now how she has been doing drugs, to being a house maid for he husband jordan.
i feel that the mother is scared and doesn't know how to stick up to an abusive man." — Feb 13, 2013 04:37AM

"On page 153, When Ishmael tortures people and destroys people's lives and their families why doesn't he think about how he felt when this happened to him. He has gone through the worst kinds of things but now he is doing the same to others and I think that's really wrong. He doesn't understand that he is doing exactly the same things as the rebels and this doesn't make him any better then them." — Apr 01, 2013 08:51PM

"On page 310, Mickey should have waited a bit longer. If he had, he would have learned that Allie loves him. Instead, he decided to make an on the spot decision and it caused him to turn into a monster." — Mar 19, 2013 04:58PM

"On page 103, I find it kind of annoying how Lizzy and Jeremy believe so much that they will find the key. I would have sawed that box in half by now even if it destroyed the contents." — Apr 02, 2013 07:04PM

"On page 137, James is ten and he is the second oldest of the Tillerman children who are poor. When his teacher gave him a writing project, he tried to find interesting ideas to write and he really worked hard on the piece. I admired his effort and I think his ambition in learning will earn him success in the future and become the bread of his siblings." — Apr 01, 2013 05:13PM
