I joined a few month ago and have made some headway in posting my large library on the site. So far, so good although it is very slow on my computer. Has anyone else experienced very slow reaction times?

Can anyone highlight the advantages of LibraryThing over Goodreads? I, too, have looked at it; but did not figure it out. Also, isn't there a charge if you shelve over a certain number of books?

I think you are right Jonetta. Amazon owns both Shelfari and Goodreads a..."

I missed this little tidbit of info about goodreads vs shelfari! Which one is supposed to win out?????

I have always remembered to click "save", so that is not the problem. At this point I believe that Lauren is right...it is limited what you can change in the "list view" mode with tags. Very unfortunate, too, as it is so easy to make a typo or inadvertently change the wording of a tag you are trying to keep "pure". Just another reason to like goodreads, I guess!

I, too, have written for help to the Shalfari team and have gotten no response. I'm gathering that is just one of the issues discussed here.

Since no responses seem to be forthcoming from the Shelfari team, I was wondering if anyone here knows how to delete tags from books on your shelf without having to go one title at a time from your shelf. I've tried it in "list view", and I can add/correct tags but cannot delete them! What am I missing?
