Oh. My. God. I just finished chapter 56 and I have to say that I have never read about a character who was a musician with this much truth in it. As a fellow musician, I can quite easily say that when Kvothe was playing and waiting to find out if he earned his pipes that my heart has only raced like it when I was waiting for an audition result. The intensity of that scene was higher than any scene that I can remember reading before. It grabbed my attention more than any action-packed fight scene in other fantasy novels I've read. I can also say that everything that Kvothe felt and experienced when he was playing--from being nervous before going on and being completely fine and calm when he steps onto the stage to the panic when he plays a wrong note to not being able to search the crowd because it distracts him and causes his fingers to falter--is real.
I am so completely and utterly in love with this book that I can barely think straight and I am so sorry for my rambling.

I’m a couple days behind due to schoolwork, but I’m on chapter 26 and I am so sucked into the story that I know it will not be a challenge to catch up.

through chapter 7, so until the start of chapter 8

Merin, every time I see your name I think it says Merlin XD

what is the paper about?"I'm writing about the development of the wallpaper in Charlotte Perkins Gilman's "The Yellow Wallpaper" into a symbol of how domestic life is trapping the narrator.

I'm in my last year of high school, I'm taking AP Calculus, Dual Enrollment English, Band, Scientific Research, and Spanish his semester. When I go to college next year I want to major in Chemistry and minor in Music

Hey, I'm Rebecca. I am 17 years old, from the eastern US. I am currently procrastinating writing a 4-page literature paper due tomorrow, and I am excited to finally have some people to read and discuss this book with.
