79668 I'm currently reading In the Shadow of the Sun King (Darkness to Light, #1) by Golden Keyes Parsons . I already read the third part of this serie and totally loved it! Finally found part one and two for my ereader, so they are on top of my reading list now ;)

79668 I finished Wonderland Creek by Lynn Austin yesterday (awesome book!) and started reading A Red Herring Without Mustard (Flavia de Luce, #3) by Alan Bradley and loving it so far!

79668 Read part II Fire by Night (Refiners Fire #2) by Lynn Austin and III A Light to My Path (Refiners Fire #3) by Lynn Austin of The Refiners Fire Trilogie. If you love the story of 'Gone with the wind' and 'North and South', these are 3 books you should defintely read!

After these I read another book of our little Belgian friend, Hercule Poirot: The Mystery of the Blue Train (Hercule Poirot #6) by Agatha Christie , followed by another awesome book by Simon Beckett: Written in Bone (David Hunter #2) by Simon Beckett

Now I'm reading another book of our little Belgian friend: Black Coffee (Hercule Poirot #7) by Agatha Christie

79668 Hmmm, you are right, Jon :-)
And thanks for the great tip! Just made a bookshelf on my Kobo, now I have to figure out which books I shall and to my top priority list... prefarably not all 1881 and less then a 100!
Mar 21, 2013 06:01AM

79668 Indeed :)
But I heard somebody invented a parfume that has the smell of old books, maybe I can spray that on my Kobo ;)

79668 Hmmm, making lists on my Kobo may be an answer to my problem! I need to find out if I can do this on there! Thanks for the tip, Jon!

I have a back-up on my computer, but to be honest I'm too lazy to update it, that's why I have put them all on my Kobo *blush*

Liat, I agree with you, but my case is a bit different... It was an ereader or not reading at all anymore, so the choise was easy :)

79668 Hmm, but my main problem is, Jon, I keep forgetting which books I have on my Kobo (it is one of the symptoms of my disease(s)), so I started with the letter A and I'll see how far I get. Browsing all of those books is not really an option, writing them down will only give me more lists, so... Hmmm... :D

A kobo is an e-reader, it is the similar to the Sony. I have the Kobo Touch and I just love it! It is so easy for me! Before I had it, it was just not possible for me to read a book anymore (unless it was a book for children). I spend a lot of time in the hospital and now time just flies when I'm over there! It is so tiny, so it hardly takes up any space! Try to imagine yourself I carry 1881 books in a suitcase to the hospital every week :D So yeah, I love my Kobo, but I do miss the smell of books and the touching of the paper...

79668 I know :) And that is not my only problem... Time is also my problem *blush* Time enough, but I don't know how much...

79668 I have 1881 books I still have to read on my Kobo right now :-s But I have a period of 4 years in which I haven't read any books, so that is probably why I have so many books on my list :)

But I think I will have to remove some of them... I have done some calculating and if I read 200 books a year and don't add any books to my list anymore it will take me at least 10 year to read these books :-s And it is impossible for me not to add any more books, so, I'll better remove some of them if I will ever get to the end of my list :)

79668 Happy to hear I'm not the only one who has such a long list :D
Mar 21, 2013 02:36AM

79668 That one is also on my list I still have to read, but there are about 1800 books on that list so :-s ;-)

79668 Finished The Big Four (Hercule Poirot, #5) by Agatha Christie yesterday and loved every letter of it and started with Candle in the Darkness (Refiners Fire #1) by Lynn Austin and totally lovin' it so far!

I love historical fiction, I love the books of Lynn Austin and I love the movie 'Gone with the wind' and this book has a similar story (so far), so I'm looking forward to read the rest of the book later today and I can't wait to see what will happen in part II and III.
Mar 20, 2013 10:58AM

79668 Hmmm... Maybe Jane Austen?
Mar 20, 2013 01:31AM

79668 I'm happy to read that, because I have an evil mind ^_^

Christie is one of my favourite authors, I have all her books, but because I can't read an actual book anymore, I haven't read them in a long time anymore. Now I have an e-reader and I bought al her books in e-book and and am reading them again.

So I can say Christie is my UA. Are there any other UAs? Hmmm, let me think... let me think real hard... No... I love a lot of authors, but I can read the books of Christie a 100 times without getting bored, I don't have that with other authors. I usually read a book one time and that's enough for me. Agatha Christie on the other hand is like the first cup of coffee in the morning ;-)

Thanks, Jon! I think you can read my mind :D I was just going to ask how I should add it :D

I finished all 3 the books and I'm wondering if there will be a 4th book coming out... The story doesn't seem to be finished yet.

Right now I'm reading The Big Four (Hercule Poirot, #5) by Agatha Christie
The perfect book on this rainy day! I'm from Belgium and I love our little Belgian friend with his little grey cells ;)
