Sorry it wasn't for you either. Glad it's not just me though.
I have borrowed an edition via Hoopla. There were several to choose from and I choose one that said annotated. There's also an introduction that explains, with NO spoilers thankfully (I know nothing about the novel), stuff about Emily Bronte and her life in ways relevant to helping understand the novel. So hopefully that helps me understand what I shall soon attempt to read. That and the annotations. I have to go to bed so I just read the introduction but hopefully i'll read it some tomorrow though i'm also going to be tired and busy so if not, then the next day but I'll hopefully at least start it tomorrow. If not soon.
I had no idea there's more than 1 edition. I know Frankenstein is like that and I love the original version...does every classic have 2 or more editions? I'm going to have to see what editions I can find.
I've been wanting to read Wuthering Heights! I just have no idea what edition to read lol. I don't own any but there are multiple editions on Hoopla, Everand (was Scribd) and Libby lol. And of course, Gutenberg as well.
I second Krampus and Slewfoot! I've read Krampus 3 times and did so before bothering to pick up another book by Brom lol and then I read Slewfoot last year. I don't know when i'll read something else by him but I did just order this book.
I was confused because you said "Like you I only have a small portion of my waiting to be read books on Goodreads at this point" but I have literally my entire waiting to be read books, thousands of books, on here. There is no way i'll ever read them all lol especially because the list keeps growing XD.Sorry for my confusion.
That sounds awesome :) I hope to get back to my spirituality soon.
I do wish the blog post didn't look ridiculous on here though. At the end of the blog post on here it says "view more on Tyler J Gray's website" and that links to my actual blog post on wordpress. On here it often looks ridiculous because of the photos.

That's not what I meant. I have a HUGE amount, literally thousands of books, on my want to read as well as "own but not yet read" shelves here on Goodreads. I meant that blog post (I assumed you were talking about my latest blog post, classics books I want to read, on my profile) is only a tiiiiny portion of the books I want to read. Just some of the classics specifically. I have a TON more books I want to read that are on my Goodreads. Sorry for the confusion.
I didn't read a ton as a kid but when I did it was horror, like Goosebumps and Fear Street (i'll be 34 in February). I started becoming an avid reader in late 2015 (and I found booktube then so the books I want to read keeps growing at an alarming pace since I do love to read all over the place genre wise now).
I definitely want to read about astrology and all that! I'm pagan but haven't practiced or anything in years. I want to get back to that.
I haven't even seen a show or movie about Holmes lol. I've just heard of Holmes and want to check it out at some point lol.

I have a ridiculous amount of books I want to read someday. That's just a tiiiiny bit lol. I've started Poe but barely.
I love nonfiction, I love learning and it's so much easier for me than fiction actually. Fiction I have to learn plots and storylines and worlds and characters, and I have aphantasia. I mean I love and enjoy fiction just fine but nonfiction is just, easier. No worlds to remember no plots etc. Just facts.
