love the cover
I read in it comic shop a while ago it was just a one issue deal I belive. It took place in London I think The Long Halloween has noir written all over it so good, I heard moody jazz in my head while reading it. While I like the Christopher Nolan Batman movies, I feelt that he abandoned the noir elements from the comics, his version is real and gritty,Gotham City is just a Modern Day New York City, and deals with large human themes, Heath Ledger's joker made that trilogy
Preacher, American Vampire, 100 Bullets, The Exterminators, if your looking for comics that are well written, bloody and daring look no further, are there any other imprints that come close?
So has anyone ever heard of it, it's from the early 1900's, was in color and newspaper size. In "Against The Day" Thomas Pynchon uses "Little Nemo: In Slumberland" as inspiration for the Chums of Chance in "Against the Day", Tyrone Slothrop reads "Plastic Man Comics" on a beach in France in "Gravity's Rainbow",seems Thomas Pyhon is a comic book fan. Alan Moore, "Watchmen", is said to be a fan of Thomas Pynchon. I hear the Little Nemo comics are hard to come by and cost serious bank.
