Woo! Finally finished. What a rich book, and what a satisfying ending.

Okay. I am making it a personal goal to finish reading this book before Game Day.

Enjoying this book so far. Very different from what I'm used to reading.

I already picked up a copy at B&N... my version has zig-zag blue and white lines across the top.

Sounds like Cry will be our first book. I've never been in a book club before, so I'm not sure how these things work. Do we set certain reading goals for the group, or plan to discuss the book as we go, or just read the whole thing and discuss afterward?

I think I've read My Antonia before, although I don't recall anything about it. I'm good with any of the other three.

Not sure exactly counts as a classic, but can I vote against Wuthering Heights, Great Gatsby, and Lord of the Flies?

I'd also like to address Jeremy's creeper-moustache profile pic.

Going back to the original list of genres Jeremy suggested, I'd lean towards a classic.

Did anything ever come of this? If not, I'd love to re-kindle this idea.
