I've read this one last year and yes, this is a perfect book for our book club. :) :)

I have my copy since last year, one of those books I just bought and haven't read yet. Hope you can get the copy. I heard so many great things about this book and that it is somehow still underrated and I agree. :0 I'm about to start this today and I'm excietd.

822420 Hi Divers,

So the chapters of this book are weird. The entire book is divided into 5 parts, though all in all, there are ten parts because there's like 1(a), 1(b) and so on. And under those 'Part Titles', there are chapter titles, no numbers.

For our final discussion, we'll tackle 3. Autumn term(b) until the ending. :)

Thank you for joining us.

822420 You all, I'm actually just started reading this but I'll be done reading half of the book in an hour. But right now, I'm equally saddened by what our MC, Shirin, is going through and awed by how great the writing is.

--I'll be back to in a while.

Hi Vi.. I'm Lili, and I'm from the Philippines too. I also want to become a published author. I'm actually editing the first draft of my novel. I wrote it last year. :)

Lol, When I was a kid, encyclopedias with big volumes and textbooks are the only books in our house too. :)

Anyway, nice meeting you.

Hi Kamisha... Still thank you for sharing your thoughts. I love contemporary but personally, I stay away from YA. But like you I'm enjoying this one. I can even call it very refreshing, which I think, like you said, because it has different topic and issues. And very realistic, yes. I was fat in high school and bullied because of it, so even though there are times I get annoyed at Will, I understand her or where she's coming from. :) :) :)

I really hope we get to meet Lucy alive but still, the author's writing is amazing that Lucy' character seem so alive on pages. She's an important character.

Lol, at first Bo is my ideal guy in YA. He's clearly not an asshole and I can see the hints of him liking Will but as the story goes, I wanna shake him and tell him he should figure out what he really wants. Will has plenty on her plates already and if he's gonna act like he does, and be confusing, he's not helping Will.

I think Will should or must learn to stop being so negative. And if I'm remembering correctly she said she has nothing and that the pageant is all she can have, like Ellen should give it to her. But I understand why she believes that. Ugh I felt BETRAYED when it turned out that Ellen have been talking to Callie about her relationship with Will.
