I might have another question:
I've seen people saying that it's good to read reviews and see what people think (and possibly see if there's something you might've missed - and learn from it for the future). Then, I've seen people saying you should definitely not read them - that it won't help anything.
Which case of the two above are you?

If you don't mind this type of question: How long it took from the first idea for this book to the final draft?
