I am not sure how to use the spoiler tag, so I hope this works. (view spoiler) I actually enjoyed the story and had no trouble following the characters, but I can see how that could present problems for others. At first I thought I would have trouble and even now I'm not sure I can pronounce half the names correctly. ha!
This is the first book I've read as a new member. To be honest, I am not sure I even read the synopsis first. I had little expectation opening this book. When the girls were first blessed, I thought, "Oh no, this is going to be a silly one", but I was pleasantly surprised by the way the story unfolded. I enjoyed the journey. Of course, I have the usual gripe about the open-ending of the book, but I just imagine a happily ever after scenario. I'm corny like that. Overall, this was an enjoyable book for me.
Hello, Hollie. Thank you for the warm welcome. I live in Austin, Texas. I am a Financial Advisor. There's a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I travel a few times a month to meet with clients, but I work from home when there are no scheduled meetings. I am interested in reading across many genres, but I feel that classics seem to stick with me the longest. Toads and Diamonds has been requested from my local library, and I just received an email that it's ready for pickup. I will likely start reading it this weekend.
Hello! I'm a married mom of three and own a retirement planning business. I recently finished East of Eden and was quite bummed that I was unable to share the experience with anyone. I decided to join a book club to prevent the same problem from happening in the future. Looking forward to reading with you all.
