In case anyone is doing the challenge out of alphabetical order and needs to remember which letters they've already done, you can use this topic to track your progress. For example, if you've done the tasks for letters B, F and R, you may post a comment with these letters, and as you complete more tasks, you go back and edit your original comment to add the new letters (for example, C). Do not leave a new comment for each challenge task you complete.
Double V for The Toll-Gate by Georgette Heyer: it's set in the countryside (VILLAGE) and the hero is a veteran of the Napoleonic Wars (VETERAN).
FAVOURITE: The Quiet Gentleman by Georgette Heyer. My favourite romance writer, this is one of the last historicals by her that I had not yet read. I liked it!
UNKNOWN - I read The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren (who are 2 people). My first book by them. I liked the writing style but had a problem with the hero. I think I will give their books another chance.
STANDALONE - Read Serious Moonlight by Jenn Bennett. It was really cute. She does YA romance well. I liked it better than Starry Eyes, but it's not quite as good as Alex, Approximately.
JERK - The Simple WildYeah, and the hero was such a jerk that I dnf'd it lol. This is probably my least favourite trope, ever.

I read Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett. Both the hero and the heroine are geeks/nerds. I thought it was just ok, I think a teenager reader would like it a lot more though.
Welp, my reading is going slowly this year, but I did just read an age gap romance I really loved: The Corinthian, by Georgette Heyer. Definitely recommend it

*I'd love more recs in this category, it's one I like but haven't found a lot of good ones*"
Katie, thanks for these recs! Some enemies-to-lovers romances I've enjoyed:
Alex, Approximately - Jenn Bennett
Faro's Daughter - Georgette Heyer
