Seriously, the more you write about Bartholomew, you'll get to know him better or "flesh" out his character as a professor of mine used to say. You might find that you know him so well, you'll want to write a story with him in the lead.
Perhaps Bartholomew will be successful in changing your mind. The more you write, you may find him shouting, "I want my own book!"
Sloan and the storyline sound really intriguing. Since you're noting the other three men -- Gordon, Robert, and Bartholomew -- will each of them show up as a "hero" in his own book?
That readers ask you "where can they find their own Sloan?" caught my eye and intrigued me. Can you tell us a bit about him, please?
