Lol I have no clue where I’m at progress wise with this! I’ve read 22/50 of my overall goal for the year (got caught up with my wedding planning and mini honeymoon 😊💚I will be reviewing it all tonight or tomorrow and will hopefully be able to say I’ve completed 22 of the prompts (but not optimistic on that fact 🙃)
I finished 3 books and started my 4th.Finished:
Summer on Moonlight Bay by Hope Ramsay
Then There Was You by Miranda Liasson
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum
Started:
On the Clock: What Low-Wage Work Did to Me and How it Drives America Insane by Emily Guendelsberger
Our computers were down all week at work so we got paid to read last week lol that is the only reason I got all of those books done :)
So far I have finished the 29 Seconds book this week (finished it last night!) and started working more into the next book, Opportunity Knocks. I plan to hopefully have that finished by tomorrow and will start on the next book that is TBD. Will keep posting throughout the week :)
I did not finish any books during this week- but I did find out that I have to read at least two books a week now for the rest of the year in order to finish my goal...so that's not at all stressful *insert upside down smiley face emoji here* WISH ME LUCK GUYS!
I started a book that I received from one of the Goodreads giveaways this week after finishing Girl, Stop Apologizing by Rachel Hollis. The book I am now reading is called 29 Seconds by TM Logan and it is SOOOO GOOD! I feel that I will be able to breeze through this book as the chapters are short and I have already managed to make huge progress in it as well. :)
I continued reading “A Discovery of Witches” and got pretty far in it. With almost 600 pages it has taken me a hot minute to get through it but I hope to finish it this next week!
I finished reading “The Lost Girls of Paris” FINALLY! And started a new book called “A Discovery of Witches” that was recommended to me by a coworker.
I am almost done reading “The Lost Girls of Paris” by Pam Jenoff for this! It is based on true events that took place during WW2 with agents in Paris. 😊
I did not do good last week lol i had a very lazy week and did not read much. Hoping this week will be better because of the weather up here in Indiana so I might get stuck at home 🤷🏻♀️
I started the Series of Unfortunate Events books again so that The Bad Beginning could be used towards the nostalgic category. This week i completes book one and two. I am almost done with three and then will be reading four for the books i think should be a movie because i wish that they would have continued to make the book series into movies when i was younger. 😊📚
Sonya I just looked up the book and read a summary of it and it sounds amazing. I think I’m adding that to my list for this category now lol
Currently reading The Series of Unfortunate Events which I absolutely loved as a child and have been thinking about a lot lately since they just put the last season of the Neil Patrick Harris version on Netflix! They are all super quick reads so I hope this won’t put me back in my timeline for finishing books this year lol
I am still working on “Never Always Sometimes” by Adi Alsaid for the book where the authors first and last name start with the same letter. I have like 75 pages left in it so I plan to finish tonight or tomorrow morning. My next book I have yet to decide on but I will then be 2 out of 50 for the challenge!!
