I didn't quite make it to the top of Mt. Vancouver in the end, but I didn't do too badly, considering my reviewing commitments exploded this year. If I've counted right, I managed 33 out of the 36 I'd hoped for.I will admit that a large number of these titles were audiobooks, but I did have print/kindle versions of them prior to 2013.
The Black Madonna
Miss Jacobson's Journey
Wicked Intentions
Notorious Pleasures
Scandalous Desires
Thief of Shadows
A Rogue by Any Other Name
Much Ado About You
Just Like Heaven
The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie
Ruined by Rumor
Devil in Winter
The Lady's Companion
The Dangerous Lord Darrington
Vicar's Daughter to Viscount's Lady
Fallen
The Duchess War
Garland of Straw - I wasn't able to get a copy until this year, but it's been on my "want to read" list for over 20 years!
The Spymaster's Lady
A Christmas Promise
A Christmas Bride (The Ideal Wife #3)
Castles
For My Lady's Heart
Midsummer Moon
The Dream Hunter
Saving Grace
Stranger in My Arms
Tempting the Bride
The Counterfeit Coachman
A Kiss For Midwinter
It's in His Kiss
Ten Things I Love About You
More Than a Stranger
The Paid Companion
I'm too knackered now to do the clever bit!
And another one...
It's sad that I'm barely at the half way point, but my reviewing activities have exploded somewhat this year and I've had a lot of new stuff to get through. So I might not make the 36, but I'm going to get a few more done at least!
I'm about to start
, which has been on my TBR list for more than twenty years!
It's been a while since I checked in, but my "mount-tbr" shelf is showing that so far I've checked off the following titles:
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that I'm not really sticking to my list! And quite a few of these have been audio versions of books I've had for ages, but I'm told they still count! ;-)
I'm halfway through the audio of
, which IS on my list, so I'll be able to cross off at least one more.
Three more down:
I listened to audiobook versions, but I've had dead tree/Kindle versions of them kicking around for over a year!

Useful to know, thanks. I was feeling a bit rough last week, so I downloaded some audios from the e-library so I could listen when I couldn't keep my eyes open to read an actual book! The ones I've listened to so far are of books I've already got and had prior to January this year.
Can I include audiobooks if they're borrowed BUT are recordings of actual books I've had on my TBR pile for a while?
And another one crossed off the list -
.I've made myself a Mt TBR shelf now and have been lobbing unread books on that I've had kicking around for ages. So at least I won't be wasting valuable reading time wondering what to read next...
2 down, 34 to go! A slow start, I know, but I'll get there.Just finished
, which was absolutely superb.
As was, I suppose, predictable, my first read from my Mt TBR wasn't on my first ten list, but was instead
Oh, well. But at least it's a start!
Misfit wrote: "Black Madonna is so good. Can't wait to see that out on e-book."I am reliably informed that work on the ebook version has started :-)
I was given a dead-tree copy for Christmas - which I'm "saving up" to read when I can get a good long run at it without too many distractions in the way.
As of 1st Jan 2013, here are my first ten titles, in no particular order:2. An Improper Widow by Kate Moore
3. The Counterfeit Husband by Elizabeth Mansfield
4. Instruments of Darkness by Imogen Robertson
5. The Nobody by Diane Farr
7. Friends and Foes by Sarah M. Eden
8. The Town House by Norah Lofts
10. The Dark Queen by Susan Carroll
I'll come back and add to the list when I've thought about it some more.
Rio (Lynne) wrote: "I agree Misfit. Good luck job hunting Caz!"Thanks! Fortunately, the majority of the books on my TBR list are oldies!
I'm starting with a modest goal. My Reading Challenge goal for 2012 was 100 books - I've just passed that, but I'm not sure how much reading time I'll have in 2013, as one of the things I have to do is get a new job!I have no idea yet what I'm going to read. I'll have to start wading through my TBR list.
