I like how it matches the Study series and that it says it's an Opal Cowan novel. Someone who's unfamiliar with the books will see that and probably figure out it's part of a series.
I can't take any credit. Alethea did everything. All I did was show up.Maria, the green minty chocolates are good!
I'm being a little stingy about this one. I'm only adding authors that I've rated 5 on all of their books.
I like the new cover. I think it looks cleaner. And now I can tell she's holding the orb behind her back. Can someone with librarian status add the new cover on GR? (I know, Alethea! I haven't "applied" for status yet. Too lazy.)
Yay! Fire Study sold out and needs to be reprinted... but it's been a really long time since. Any idea when Fire Study will be back in stock? Or has it already?
Sorry, didn't mean to startle anyone. I must've got the time wrong. I thought I read 12am Feb. 8th. Ooops!
I believe the first contest is over now, but there's still time for the second one! T-shirt design contest due Feb. 28th! I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's designs. Good luck!
I'm actually donating them because I work there. I was going to get them the YA covers, but there's no Fire Study. So I'm just going to go with the originals.
I didn't donate them before because a lot of donations slip out of the library and into the Friends of the Library Bookshoppe without review from the librarians. I also didn't realize they were paying attention to my random conversations about books and ordering ones that I had suggested. I had to make sure that my donations wouldn't "accidentally" end up in the Bookshoppe. The Library Assistant that I talked to also works at B&N, so she's already heard about the series (and has it on her to-read list). She'll probably be the first to check them out.
Maybe someone should email him and ask. I'm always hesitant in emailing authors. It took a lot of debating when I emailed Maria.
