Hello allSorry it's taken a while for me to get on here, it's been a hectic few months.
I'm finally caught up on Spy Glass and OMG it was amazing.
I can't believe how amazing the story was and how completely different the ending was from what I could have imagined. Plus I love the new characters although I am partially bias!!! I had no idea, it was the most unbelievable shock. But a great one. Thank you so much.
Love you Maria and love your books xxx
No problem Alethea, can always talk about Maria's books till i'm blue in the face! Went to meet Rachel Caine today and got all 18 books signed! (annika will lend them to you tomorrow!) While i was in the line i was finishing reading Fire Study (again) and told every one around me to read Maria's stories!
Rachel was amazing and so lovely - she totally didn't mind signing every one of my books!!! But thanks to Maria for telling me about them. x
My favourites have all been mentioned!!! If you read Trudi Canavan don't stop at The Black Magician Trilogy, try The Age of Five as well!!!
I got my copy in the post a couple of days ago but i have friends staying with me at the minute so won't be able to read this as quickly as normal :o(
Well... some of the answers from the kids were scarecrow, witch and robbin hood!!!! Was going for Peter Pan even though the costume was technically meant to be Puck from a midsummers night dream! Never mind, it was just really fun dressing up.
Sarah - the sleeves were the reason i chose the costume.. they were soooooo cool!
Plus the fact that i went to the costume hire place the day before and had to have whatever would fit me!
Hi all,It was World Book Day last Thursday (4/3/10)
Just thought i would ask if anyone did anything to celebrate?
We had all of the children at school dress up as their fav character and we got a fantastic turn out. Even the staff had a go, myself included, so i thought i would share the wonderful picture of myself dressed up!
I got a number of answers when i asked the children who they thought i was so i thought i would let you all have a guess as well!
I wish we could have spent more time together as well. You were so easy to chat with. I'm not sure about beautiful or gorgeous but thank you both very much.
I'm glad you had a great time - please come back again. I can send another letter!
I think i have driven everyone mad from telling them how wonderful you are!
Just looked at the website. I am currently back stage on a show - not doing what i meant to do and bugging everyone to come and look at the photo of me and Maria. Let say they are not too impressed as they are trying to do a show!!!! OUPS
Ok so it's taken a little longer than planned but here are the photos from when i went to see Maria in Crawley. It was AMAZING! She is the nicest person ever and really really funny!

OMG i met Maria last night! :o) I drove for just over 3 hours after work and made it just on time. Was awsome. At work now but will tell you all about it with pictures when i get home!!!!!!
I read this book a few years back and while i was half way through it i moved to Romania for 6 months to teach at the international school there. It was so strange reading this book there. I remember reading it in my flat and all of a sudden the power went out in the whole building and i suddenly realised i was in Romania in the dark reading a book about Vampires!!!! *Oh Crap*
Great book - i loved it.

Definately agree about coming to Leicester but i don't think Maria can make it anymore :o(
There are two Waterstones and both are quite small. I can't believe they closed Borders - it was a brilliant store.
I'm really hoping the snow is going away as i'm planning to make the book signing in Crawley on the Thursday. Anyone else coming?
Hi Maria, was just wondering if you had any updates on your trip to the UK? Do you know where your going to be for the week?
Hey i could loan you my copy if you would be willing to post it back to me when your done?I'm in the UK so shouldn't be too much over to you - your in Ireland right?
Let me know!
I'm not sure which set i liked better. I loved BMT because it got me through a difficult time in my life (loosing my grandad) so i kindda attached myself to the book to escape. I think The age of fire shoes a move develpoed style of writing so is great as well. I just can't choose - sorry. I know there are talks of her doing another book or triogy to explain the story between TBM trilogy and the magicains apprentice as there are still gaps in the story!!!
