Well I think she went to Worldcon in Arizona. Maybe I"m misremembering. There were a lot of names on that list. :) But I suppose it's all in making it worth her while. :)

But it's definitely easier to be on the same side of the nation. :)

Hmmm I wonder if she would go. She is delightful! I'm super lucky that she is almost always at Balticon, I look forward to my yearly chance at seeing her! I tend to wait to buy her books there because otherwise I forget to pack them! I'm so lame, I know.

You should see if any of your local conventions would woo her into coming. SLC has to have a con or two :-)

I could totally go for anything in this vein... short or long! :) And *SIGH* I wish I had a fiesty book group. Man do I miss my great one from ages ago!

I super can't wait!!! It sounds like a lot of intrigue and running for ones life which I think Maria does quite well! :)

I might have to preorder it. And then forget to take it to a signing. LOL

I loved the book! I couldn't put it down and read it the day after I got it. I loved Maria's foray into scifi and I had several theories as to Outside. I loved how Logans Run this was... :)

I need Sea Glass. I'm going to the beach in September to shoot a wedding. I need to get in the beach mood. What better way to get into the mood for the ocean, especially right smack dab in the middle of huricane season... I definitely need Sea Glass! I can't believe it'll be out so soon!!!!!!!

Seriously... you should have seen me wallowing in my book piles after taking everything off the shelves last week. Can you say dragon in pile of gold? Think Scrooge McDuck in his vault.

I should win so that I can keep posting how I'm reading tons of books by my TBR stack grows instead of shrinks!!!!! I started off this year with just over 200, I've read 71 books and have like 250 books on the stack. I'd love to get to the end of the year, have read like 150 books and have like 400 books on my TBR for next year. Cause it keeps me hopping!!!

Ok seriously, if I have 400 books at the end of the year I might cry. I don't have the room for that many books. Right now my books litter my house because I removed them from their regular home so I can paint. OMG what a task. Save me now!

I dunno if there's a flair or not. I want a real one. HAHA :) Cause my strap that says CANON in huse letters... not enough. :) And I did cry for weeks. It happened the day before my birthday/Mother's Day. It was awful. :( But all is good. I have a new one - the newer model! HEHE

I can relate to the $$ part. I had to work hard to replace my SLR after my last one got swiped. But I have cameras to play with around here. LOL People just hand me off their old cameras. Kind of fun though cause I have this nice little vintage camera collection!

(Uh I should mention the real crack up is that I live in a town where there's a zillion cannons... LOL)
