1. Strong historical non-fiction and even historical fiction can be really difficult for me.
2. I'd have to say Mystery Romance haha
3. I am open to a series. I think reading the first book in a series without obligation of finishing and then deciding together if we'd like to continue would be a good option.

Books I'd like to recommend:
- "Today will be Different" - by Maria Semple
- "Mom & Me & Mom" - by Maya Angelou
- "Circe" - by Madeline Miller

Book Choosing Methods:

Hello! I'm Saschia. My forever favorite book is "Man's Search for Meaning" by Victor Frankl. Forever changed my life.
Favorite genre: psych mystery/thriller
Currently art, therapy, and self-care are taking up my time these days.
My favorite Disney show/movie is Princess Diaries.
Current tv binge is definitely "Maniac" or "The Sinner" both on Netflix.
What else do you need to know?
I love reading but often don't stop and breathe enough to just pick up a book. I love to hear differing opinions and experiences and how they influence our interpretations of the world around us (something I think we'll probably experience with this specific book).
I've never been a part of a book club, let alone lead one but I am more than excited to build this community.
