Was anyone else surprised by Kveldulf's response to King Audbjorn?Why do you think he refused to help? Is Kveldulf just being stubbornly independent here? Perhaps his reaction is worth comparing/contrasting with Solvi's speech on page 5. (Chapter 3)

The phenomenal podcast Saga Thing is currently covering Egil's Saga, and I'll be reading along with them this time! So far they've done 1 episode covering the first 6 chapters, and they hope to release a new episode every 2 weeks or so (at around the same pace).
