I found the audiobook version to be more compelling than print. For some reason, I became more invested in the story and the outcome when I switched. Of course, it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 13 hours, so it was a major time investment.

It was better than I expected, but I did not like the constant back and forth in time.

I just finished this one and was not blown away. The lack of mystery was a drawback for me, as I like the element of surprise in novels of this genre.

I really loved this book - received it as a gift on audio and was stunned by both the writing and the narration.

Good book, but did not hold a candle to The Nightingale, which is set during the same time and place.
